Funding for the Project
|
The John Evans Centenary Project is generously funded by The Leverhulme Trust. The Leverhulme Grant supports in total four years of project work through two consecutive grants: "The Intellectual Network of John Evans" (2005) and "John Evans and the Development of Archaeolgy in Nineteenth Century Europe" (2006). The Project was initiated in 2003 when a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund allowed for professional archival listing of the broad contents of the Sir John Evans archive. The catalogue is now mounted on the website of the Access to Archives (A2A) programme of The National Archives. |
